Engine options

There are two engine options on the Blazer. The standard engine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder rated at 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. For more power, there is an available 3.6-liter V6 with 308 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. It comes standard on the RS trim. Both engines are paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive comes standard, and an advanced twin-clutch all-wheel drive system is available on the RS model. When you choose all-wheel drive, the towing package is included.

Exterior design

With its Camaro-inspired design, the Blazer stands out from the competition. It shows off sharp angles and a large front grille that give it an aggressive, muscular look. You can choose from among nine exterior color options, including Cherry Red Tintcoat, Blue Glow Metallic, Cayenne Orange Metallic, and Silver Ice Metallic.

If you want a Blazer with a more unique look, there are multiple special edition models available. The Midnight edition gives the Blazer an all-black look with a gloss black grille bar and nameplate, black front and rear bowtie emblems, 18-inch black-painted aluminum wheels, and black center caps. With the Sport Edition, you get many of the same black exterior accents with a choice of multiple exterior colors. The Redline Edition adds sporty red exterior accents, including 20-inch black aluminum wheels with red accents and black Blazer badges with a red outline.

Connectivity technology

The Blazer makes it easy to stay connected. It comes standard with an 8-inch touch screen that includes Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ connectivity. You also get four standard USB ports so everyone can stay powered up. Additional technology features are available, including built-in navigation, an upgraded eight-speaker Bose® sound system, and wireless device charging.
